Privacy Policy

CopyX makes the CopyX extension for TradingView and runs copyx.trade. This policy says what we learn about you, why, and who else sees it. Questions go to support@copyx.trade.

What we collect

• Your CopyX account. When you sign in with Google, Discord or your email, we get your name, your email address and, from Google or Discord, your profile picture. Clerk, our sign-in provider, keeps the account for us.
• Your plan. Whop handles payments. From Whop we get your Whop user ID, your membership's status and plan, and its license key. We never see your card details.
• Your computers. Each computer that uses Pro gets a random device ID, stored with your Whop membership so a plan works on two computers. We don't collect the computer's name or any hardware identifier.

What stays in your browser

Your broker sign-ins and sessions, your broker accounts, positions and orders, and your CopyX settings stay in your browser's extension storage. The extension talks to your brokers and to TradingView straight from your browser. None of this is sent to CopyX's servers.

How we use it

We use your information to sign you in, to know which plan you have, to keep each plan to two computers, and to answer you when you write to us. We don't sell personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we share it only with the providers below.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, CopyX asks Google only for your name, email address and profile picture, and uses them only to create your CopyX account and sign you in. We don't use Google user data for advertising, don't sell it, and don't transfer it to anyone except Clerk, which runs sign-in for us. CopyX's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who else sees it

• Clerk runs sign-in and stores your account.
• Whop takes payments and manages your subscription.
• Cloudflare hosts copyx.trade and the service that checks your plan.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while you have one. The one-time code that finishes a sign-in expires after two minutes. To delete your account, email support@copyx.trade from the address you signed in with, and we delete it from Clerk. Whop keeps payment records for as long as payment laws require.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, at support@copyx.trade. Signing out of the extension or removing it clears what it stored in your browser.

Children

CopyX is for adults who trade. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
